About

Amaris Jett

With more than 20 years of dedicated experience in Labor & Delivery, Amaris Jett, RN-BSN, has built her career around calm leadership, decisive action, and compassionate advocacy during some of life’s most critical moments. She brings that same steady presence and service-driven mindset to her role as a board member of Pass It Forward.

Throughout her nursing career, Amaris has been known for strong coordination, problem-solving under pressure, and unwavering advocacy for families. She understands that stability is built on access — access to healthcare, employment, education, and safe environments. She has witnessed firsthand how external stressors can impact a family’s ability to move forward, and she recognizes that reliable transportation is often the missing link between surviving and thriving.

Amaris is drawn to the mission of Pass It Forward because it addresses a practical but life-changing need: mobility. A dependable vehicle is not simply transportation — it is safety for a mother leaving an unstable situation, consistency for children getting to school, and opportunity for a parent committed to employment. She believes that restoring vehicles and placing them responsibly into the hands of those working toward independence creates real, measurable change.

With a hands-on leadership style and a deep commitment to community impact, Amaris is passionate about helping transform donated vehicles into second chances. She supports strong systems, responsible stewardship, and clear accountability — ensuring every vehicle entrusted to the organization is restored with care and distributed with dignity.

Outside of her professional and nonprofit service, Amaris is supported by her amazing husband and partner, Chris Jett, and is the proud mother of two beautiful teenage daughters. She enjoys cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays and her alma mater, the University of South Florida. Go Bulls!

Amaris is honored to serve a mission that restores mobility, strengthens families, and provides a safer road forward for those ready to rebuild.
